Narrative:

Jared is an associate in the firm’s St. Louis office where he vigorously defends transportation companies, including railroad and trucking companies, as well as insurance companies, in both federal and state courts. Jared has represented clients against wrongful death suits and other claims involving catastrophic injury, where he always seeks a just outcome. In addition, Jared represents medical physicians’ groups. He also represents clients in employment law matters, including, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), and defends clients before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the Missouri Commission on Human Rights. Jared passionately defends both mom and pop shops, as well as leading national corporations.

Before joining the firm, Jared served as an Assistant District Attorney in Queens County, New York, where he prosecuted a wide range of misdemeanor and felony cases. As an ADA in the Special Proceedings Bureau, Jared prosecuted and led long term investigations into serious felonies including human trafficking, Department of Buildings fraud, pattern burglaries, and hate crimes.

While in law school, Jared proudly served as The Black Law Student Association Executive Board’s Academic Chair and was a member of the Missouri Law Review Editorial Board. During Jared’s law school internship at the Missouri Department of Labor & Industrial Relations he successfully defended the Commission before the Missouri Court of Appeals Western District. Prior to law school, Jared double majored in Political Science and History at Illinois State University.
